nicholas handahl is a conductor and flute player based in brooklyn. he holds flute degrees from uw eau claire (timothy lane) in his native wisco, and nyu steinhardt (robert dick). past engagements include conducting at the luzerne music center in upstate ny, performing as soloist with the nyu symphony, and touring with ijoa in germany. as an improviser, nic appears in the quartet "pretzel club" and in the duo "h2f2." upcoming engagements include conducting the rt9 string ensemble, a recital series back in the midwest, and attending the atlantic music festival as a student conductor.

allen fogelsanger is a composer, educator, consultant, computer programmer, improviser and accompanist specializing in music for dance. he teaches and accompanies at purchase college, marymount manhattan college, new york university, ballet arts and freelance, and previously served as director of music for dance at cornell university. he received a phd from cornell in mathematics and is completing a mm degree in music technology at nyu. fogelsanger's music, alone and as part of dances, videos and installations, has been presented in the americas, europe and australia.
